Bryn's music selections

Bryn started preschool yesterday!!! When her teacher came out for car-line, she said that she had been working with Bryn looking at different material and there was one with daisies. The conversation went as follows:
Ms. Edith: These are daisies.
Bryn: I like Daisy Dukes.
Ms. Edith: Do you know what Daisy Dukes are?
Bryn: Daisy Dukes with bikinis on top.

Gotta love that kid!

why i can't kill max

Max and Bryn decided to make some mud and play in it...totally fine with me as long as it stays outside. then, max completely covered bryn (should have taken pictures) from head to foot, including her face, in mud. still no huge problem until i saw that they got a bunch on the back patio and sliding glass door. i was pretty upset and max started crying and said, "you can't kill me, cuz then you won't have a boy". i decided to keep him.

carrot jam

On monday, i made a bunch of strawberry freezer jam. Today, max went out to the garden and picked a carrot and came in and said, "Mom, now you can make carrot jam".

Funny kids

Max recently said, "You're not the boss! Obama's the boss."

Bryn recently said, "I love my family, cuz they hit me not".

Max's amazing language acquisition

Max got some great new white tube socks with a black stripe on the top and FILA on the back of the socks. He said, "Do you know what FILA means? It's another word in Spanish for black."
